As a key player in the music business for the last fifty years, he's appeared on hundreds of albums, co-founding the hugely popular band Rotary Connection, singing side by side with Minnie Riperton, along with appearing on albums by The Jackson Five, B.B. King, George Clinton and The Supremes.

Even Elton John acknowledged Rotary Connection's influence in Billboard Magazine, when he said that when he heard them for the first time he realized that "it (the blending of classical with rock music) could work." And the rest is history!
